Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks
Game 46 | American Airlines Center | 20 January 2022
A highly anticipated night for the Dallas Mavericks and it would have been the steal of the season; however, the Phoenix Suns’ reminded the city of Dallas exactly why they’re the number one team and basketball.
It was an electric night. Jalen Brunson (Dallas Mavericks, Point Guard) would even call the vibes immaculate. Featured on NBAonTNT Game of the Week - A full court, a full house and a full Mavericks team - it just felt different in the American Airlines Center.
The Mavericks might have come into the game as the underdog; but, the Mavericks have been the team to watch since the New Year. The Mavericks entered tonight’s game winning 11 of their last 13 games. It wasn’t going to be easy; but, it also didn’t seem impossible.
The Mavericks played seamlessly. Moving in poetic motion and beautiful rhythm; however, Devin Booker and Chris Paul did their Book and CP3 thing. The Mavs fell 101 to 109 against the best team in basketball.
